Virtue Medical Clinic provides outpatient medical services by remote provision (telemedicine) in accordance with the Healthcare Services Act.

Please note that telemedicine may not be suitable for all medical conditions. If at any time the doctor assesses that an in-person consultation is required, you will be advised to attend the clinic.

Important:
If you require any essential life-saving measures (e.g. chest pain, severe breathlessness, stroke symptoms, heavy bleeding, or collapse), you should not seek such measures via teleconsultation. Please call 995 or attend the nearest Emergency Department immediately.

Before Your Teleconsultation

• For acute illness, chronic conditions, or health screening, please prepare the following:
• Prepare your medical information, including current medications, known allergies, and any recent admissions or treatments.
• Click on the Plato Connect web browser link provided in the appointment confirmation email.
• Choose a quiet, bright and private space with stable internet connectivity. Face a light source so your face is clearly visible. Wi-Fi is recommended for better stability.
• Be ready to verify your identity. You may be asked to show your photo identification (e.g. NRIC/EP/WP) or complete verification via a SingPass pre-registration link.
• At the start of the consultation, you will be required to provide your current physical location in case emergency services need to be directed to you.
• By proceeding with this appointment, you acknowledge that telemedicine is intended for clinically appropriate, non-emergency conditions.
