Ultrasound / X-Ray Appointment
Preparation before your exam :
**Please bring along your past medical reports.
Ultrasound Liver / Abdomen
4-6 hours of fasting is required prior to the ultrasound scan. Only plain water is allowed.
Ultrasound Pelvis (#Non-IVF cases) / Prostate / Kidneys, Ureters & Urinary Bladder (KUB)
A full bladder is required for the exam. Drink at least 4 cups of water an hour before your appointment.
# Important Note: Clinic is unable to perform Ultrasound Pelvis for IVF cases & Follicular Count
All other Ultrasound exams
No preparation is required for other Ultrasound exams.
Note:
If you do not have a valid referral letter for a specific scan and indication from a licensed medical doctor, a consultation with our doctor (from $49.05) will be required prior to the scan. The duration of each scan may take up to 30-45 minutes. Do expect to spend an average of 1-1.5 hours inclusive of consultation and preparation time.
